How to keep a shoulder-length(a little below shoulder) bob less poofy?

i used to have long hair. now my hair is shorter and it still is straight. i got my hair cut into a shoulder lengthed bob. its not very sleek, although my hair is very healthy. It grew longer and thicker. i have black/brown hair and my hair constantly gets big and poofy. its really bouncy and because its shoulder lengthed, its hard to keep it down. i want my hair to feel look less mature (like how shortrt hair makes ppl look older). do you know how i could make my ahir less poofy especially after blow drying?

your hair is probaly thick like mine it gets very poofy i know what you mean by this. Try getting your hair thinned out a little bit. it will grow back so its a chance worth taking.

If you don't already use conditioner, now would be a good time to start. It might weigh your hair down a little. Also, while you're blow drying it, to make it go flatter and straighter, flip your hair upside down and dry the underside first, then hold your head up straight like normal, and dry it the rest of the way while brushing or combing the part you're drying from root to tip.
