I want to get a bob...but im dead scared if i choose the wrong one!?

i want a bob and at the mo i have longish curlyish hair. i no if i get a bob i will have to straighten it. i dont mind its just all that hair will be gone! i really like the inverted bob but i have an ovalish/squarish sortta face, so idont know if it will suit me... please help!

well why dont you tey one of thoes sites to change your hair to see how it would look or take a polorad and then you get a sparpie and coloe over your hair to see how it would look on you hope this helps

since you have curly hair i wouldnt recommend it.. i just recently got one a few months a go and i have thick wavy hair and i mean its cute but alot of hassel to deal with if i were you i'd get a longer one where the front is longer than the back .. but dont go to extreme i did and now growing this thing out is very hard .. alot of bobby pins and half up do's but i went extreme my back of my head hair is about 2 inches now that its growing out.. i just wanted to warn you to be careful,, thou they do look cut a little longer when you wear them wavy or curly. good luck.

my hair used to be down to the middle of my back and i went through this faze like 2 weeks ago and i got it cut to about my shoulders with very choppy layers. and i absolutly hate it. there is so much more you can do with long hair. but i guess it depends on the person, remember, hair grows:]

i got a bob recently too! i was so scared incase it would look horrible! also i was afraid i would miss my hair when it's gone. i went ahead and did it and ..........it looks great! i got loads of complements on how much it suits me and i think i might have a similer shaped face to yours. i got a side fringe aswell so that when i tie the back up some of the front parts and fringe hang down when i tie it up. i have a few layers as well as i didn't want my bob to be too severe.

please don't hate me if you decide to do it and it turns out wrong!! i'd hate to have a hair catastrophy on my hands!

hi I maybe a salon owner and a stylist, but I have to say a Bob if cut properly is one of the most flattering hairstyles around

and it is the most asked for cut, curlyish hair is no problem at all for having a bob and the inverted one you are talking about would most defiantly suit your face shape

however do get a good stylist to cut it, a lot of people think a Bob is easy to cut it is not, and little things like how you sit in the chair and hold your head is important a good stylist will recognize this, you would not regret it, The inverted or stacked bob is the most asked for cut, and it has been for a long time
