Hairdresser ruined my hair, any advice from a expert please?

Hi,my hair is brown and for the last 3 years i`ve been having it coloured ( woven light blonde ) just on the top.I`ve noticed the last 3 visits iv`e had there she`s been colouring the full length instead of the roots. The last time she did this, which was a month ago i went home and looked at it properly, she has absolutely ruined my hair,it`s all dried up and frizzled at the ends near the back. She told me she couldn`t colour it again until it`s in better condition and advised me to go back to brown, which i have done.when would you recomend me going blonde again? do i have to wait until the back grows a bit,get it cut or what.my hair is in a inverted bob at the moment so it doesn`t need cutting yet. Any help or ideas would be welcome thanyou

i recomend using a deep condition such as aussie try heating it up apply it to dryest parts of hair irst and leave for 10 mins .You can have conditioning treatments done at salons but aussie 3 min miricle is great for this .I would also recomend going to a salon and having the back cut were the hair has become dry and frizzy also if you want to color it try using a semi permenant dye they give greast color fantastic shine and they dont damage your hair .If you are unhappy with the way this woman has done your hair i recomend asking for someone else or going elseware .

Hi..

you will need to wait until your hair is healthy and strong before going blonde again. Treat damaged hair by regular trimming and deep conditioning but also look into taking vitamins to ensure all the new growth is as healthy as possible...no amount of vitamins will help your already damaged hair though...

I would strongly recommend you consider changing your hairdresser though...he/she should have been trained enough to protect your hair from damage in the first instance from over bleaching.

The good news is it won't take long to get back to having healthy hair...:)

go to another salon the stylist has made a balls up of your hair and tried to blame you for it get a second opinion from a better stylist about going back blonde...

let it grow a bit then re colour it with non permanent colour which would do the job in the short term without damaging it.

beware of hairdressers who have done wonderful things to my hair at times and have completely ruined it at other times. you need to keep an eye on them. sometimes they just don' t look at what they are doing. they have some nasty things to my highlights, including highlighting it without covering the growth and the grey hair before with a base colour. she was doing 3 people at the same time.

as a conditioner i advise: tresemme conditioner, which you can leave on your hair for 5 / 10 minutes after your shampoo then rinse it out.

a leave in conditioner which does a great job for me is: redken, all soft tm softends. you can get that from boots and hairdressers and does the job for dry damaged hair. after your shampoo you apply a small quantity and style your hair as usual. no need to rinse.

good luck and next time get a professional job done; discuss it throughly before hand.
