Loved my hair in the salon, hate it at home!?

I am very frustrated. My hair is naturally curly and frizz-prone. A week ago, I went to the salon and cut off about 12 inches of my hair to donate. I absolutely love what the stylist did with the rest of my hair--she cut it into layers and blow dried it into a sleek bob with different sections of hair flipped out. WELL, I bought the products, the brush, and everything and I just can't do this style myself at home (I'm sporting the Orphan Annie look and it's too short to even pull into a ponytail). What should I do? Do I go back to the salon?

Go back to the salon and ask the person who did your hair, how you can do it at home. For future notice, before you leave a hair salon, always ask how you can do it yourself at home.

Nah, do a Britney and shave it all off!

I have the same hair as you and its very hard to style. One thing thats really made a difference is blow drying my hair in sections, drying upside down until the bottom portion of the hair is nearly dry, then right side up use a clip to pull up the top portion of hair, put a diffuser on the end of the dryer and use a round brush to straighten the bottom portion or flip it. When that portion is completely dry, use the round brush to dry the top portion styling it as you like. You may need to use a straightening iron or curling iron to complete the rest of the look.

If you are having a particularly bad hair day, headbands work with any hair length.

For a while, go back weekly and have it blown dry into the sleek bob you liked so much until it grows back a little . One suggestion is to purchase products to reduce frizz on your hair. Wash your hair with a good straightening shampoo and then apply a frizz free moisturizing cream rinse. Then rub in a serum to straighten your hair and then blow dry on a cool cycle. Try that..it works for me.

go back to the salon, the stylist should give you a "hands on" lesson for free. The stylist didn't follow thru if you cannot duplicate the style.
