There is a specific way of pinning bobby pins so they don't fall out. I work at a salon and this is how the stylists keep updos up. You need to make 2 bobby pins criss cross. Just make an 'X' with the 2 bobby pins and it will stay. Remember to back comb/ tease the hair and that will help.
